About
My research fields Wavelet Analysis, Image Processing and Mathematical modelling are “Thrust Areas” of UGC, DST and many other Govt. Agencies. I hold double Master degree, one from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in Mathematics and another from T U Kaiserslautern, Germany in Industrial Mathematics. Moreover major portion of my Ph.D. work was carried out at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, under the Sandwich Program of DAAD.
In the last three decades, Theory of Wavelets has revolutionized various areas of science and technology. It has attracted the attention of persons working in the domain of Science, Technology, Finance and Management. It has applications to diverse fields such as Signal analysis and Image processing, Numerical treatment of Partial Differential Equations, Dynamic Optimization, Maxwell's equations, Black-Sholes model of option pricing, Time series analysis and Turbulence.
In the last twenty years, I have successfully applied Wavelets for Image/Signal compression, image de-noising and interpretation of ECG signals.
