Academician and Researcher, for more than a decade in the field of Respiratory Medicine. Currently working as Associate Professor, Respiratory Medicine at IGGMC Nagpur. Research interests are related to Tuberculosis, COPD, Diabetes, Pulmonary Function Tests and Respiratory diseases.
Research contribution in Medical literature in field of Respiratory Medicine:
1. Pioneer medical research in “Study Of Pulmonary Function Test In Patients Of Diabetes Mellitus (NIDDM) With Copd or Asthma.”
2. Coined the term “Bindi Tuberculosis” by reporting first such case in Medical literature.
3. Reported first case of Human Pulmonary scedosporiosis in medical literature in relation to cowdung exposure.
4. Proposed for the first time the concept of low dose amoxicillin clavulanic acid in management of drug resistant TB and published the first proof of concept case in medical literature.
