Sanman Samova

About

Dr. Sanman Kanubhai Samova is a Scientist-B at the Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC), specializing in toxicology, reproductive biology, and oxidative stress. With a Ph.D. in Life Science and an M.Sc. in Human Genetics, his research explores the toxic effects of environmental contaminants (e.g., bisphenol A) on male reproductive health and their mitigation using natural antioxidants like quercetin and curcumin.

Skilled in cell culture techniques, flow cytometry (FACS), and molecular toxicology, Dr. Samova has conducted extensive in vivo and in vitro studies on spermatozoa, epididymal function, and hepatic toxicity. He has organized and contributed to hands-on training programs in animal cell culture, IVF, and flow cytometry at GBRC.

An active researcher, he has multiple peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals and has presented his work at national and international conferences. His expertise also includes immunological assays, molecular biology and animal handling.
