About
Dr. Priyam Ghosh is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Prof. Ehud Gazit at The Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research, The George S. Wise Faculty of Life Sciences, Tel Aviv University, Israel. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2025 from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) under the supervision of Prof. Parameswar Krishnan Iyer. He obtained his B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry in 2016 and M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry in 2018 from the University of Burdwan, India.
Dr. Ghosh began his doctoral studies at IIT Guwahati in July 2019 and was awarded the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) in December 2020. His research focuses on the design and development of multifunctional organic materials for biomedical applications, with particular emphasis on molecular theranostics for Alzheimer's disease. His work integrates molecular design, biophysics, supramolecular chemistry, and biomedical research to develop innovative diagnostic and therapeutic platforms.
His current research at Tel Aviv University explores functional molecular and metabolite assemblies for advanced disease diagnosis, bioimaging, catalysis, and therapeutic interventions.
