Sandra Banda is a mechatronic engineer with 5+ years of experience in C&I solar power (grid scale) and thermal heating projects, energy access, solar cooling and electricity access using renewable energy technology. Her work involves project development and management, capacity development, proposal writing, research, data science and energy modelling of electrical energy systems. Her work supports the implementation of innovative renewable energy solutions to improve operational efficiency, use of electrical technologies to improve health outcomes, clean cooking, digitalization of mini-grids and energy data science in Sub-Saharan Africa. She uses her work as a platform to advocate for gender inclusivity in the energy industry.
