About
Sourav Banerjee is a senior member of IEEE. He received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Kalyani in 2018. He completed his B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. He is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Alipurduar Government Engineering and Management College since 09-10-2025. He served at Kalyani Government Engineering College at Kalyani, West Bengal, India, from 29-03-2008 to 08-10-2025. He has authored a good number of reputed Journal articles, books, Book chapters, and international conferences. He has edited a book on Green Cloud Computing. He is handling many special issues in reputed journals as guest editor, like Computers and Electrical Engineering Journal, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, Sustainability, Electronics. He has supervised PhD works and a lot of scholars are pursuing Ph.D under his supervision. His research interests include Big Data, IoT, IoMT, Zero-trust architecture, Sustainable engineering, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Green Cloud Computing, Green AI, 6G, Cloud Robotics, Distributed Computing, Mobile Communications, Smart City, and Global Warming. He is a member of ACM, IAE. He is a SIG member of the MIR Lab, USA. He is an Editorial Board member of the Sustainability Journal, Wireless Communication Technology. Dr. Banerjee is a regular reviewer of so many reputed journals like Journal of Industrial Information Integration, Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering, ISA Transactions, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, IEEE TCE, EAAI, Applied Energy, Sustainability, Applied Sciences, Computer Communications, Transactions on Asian and Low-Resource Language Information Processing, SN Computer Science, Sensors, Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies, International Journal of Interactive Multimedia and Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, International Journal of Systems Assurance Engineering and Management, Journal of Marine Science and Engineering, Computers and Electrical Engineering, Wireless Personal Communications etc. He has performed as an invited TPC member, Coordinator for so many international conferences, like CICBA, Globecom, IEEE STP-CPS, ICSPIS, etc. He has performed as an International Advisory Committee member in the Wits Global Fintech Conference, Johannesburg, South Africa.
