About
Stephen Palmer is a Chartered Psychologist, Chartered Biologist and Chartered Scientist. His university appointments include being an Adjunct Professor of Coaching Psychology, Aalborg University, Denmark, and an Hon Professor of Practice in the Institute of Management and Health, University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD).
Since 1987, he has been Director of the Centre for Stress Management.
He is President and Fellow of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, Vice President of the Institute of Health Promotion and Education and former President and Honorary Fellow of both the Association for Coaching and the International Stress Management Association (UK).
He is Co-Editor of the International Journal of Stress Prevention and Wellbeing, the European Journal of Counselling Theory, Research and Practice, and the European Journal of Applied Positive Psychology. He has written/edited 60 books including Brief Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Handbook of Counselling, Handbook of Coaching Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Coaching in Practice, Developmental Coaching, The Coaching Relationship and Solution Focused Coaching in Practice.
