Dr. Seema Ansari

About

Dr. Seema Ansari is currently the Director of Office of Research, Innovation & Commercializattion (ORIC) at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). Before this she was Advisor to the Rector at the Institute of Business Management, Korangi Campus Karachi, (oBM), the Assoc. Dean of College Engineering and Sciences(CES) at the Institute of Business Management, HoD of Electrical Engineering department at the CES, IoBM. She earned her Ph.D degree from University of Malaga, Spain, MS/CS-Telecomm. from University of Missouri, KC, USA and B.E. Electronic Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. During her career, she has held various positions in the field of education. Starting as a Lecturer, Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor / Head of Curriculum and New Programs, Head of Department. Graduate Studies, College of Computer Science & Engineering, and Thesis / Research Supervisor of MS/MPhil students at Institutions of high repute at Karachi. She also served as the Dean of Student Affairs and Director at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, Karachi, (a joint venture of APIIT Malaysia and affiliated with Staffordshire University U.K). She has also served as a CEO of SA Educational Consultant and Solution Providers. She is an author and co-author of 70 plus research papers published in both national and International Journals, conferences and magazines. She has also contributed as an author of chapters in 7 books indexed by Scopus and Web of Science, with Publishers: Springer Nature Newzealand and IGI GLOBAL, USA. Her area of research is Underwater Communication, WSN, IoT, Analysis of MAC protocols, 5G/6Gnetworks.
