Dr. Sai Srinivas Vellela is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) at Chalapathi Institute of Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. in Cloud Computing from Saveetha School of Engineering, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai. He earned his M.Tech in Software Engineering from Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) in 2010 and his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Sarathi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SSIET), Nuzvid, in 2008.
With over 17 years of teaching, research, and academic experience, Dr. Sai Srinivas Vellela has made significant contributions to higher education, research, and innovation.
Dr. Sai Srinivas Vellela has published more than 100 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences. His research contributions have enhanced the understanding and application of emerging technologies in Computer Science and Engineering. He is also the holder of over 15 patents, demonstrating his dedication to innovation and technological advancement. In addition, he has authored five textbooks and contributed to seven book chapters, reflecting his commitment to academic scholarship and knowledge dissemination.
Dr. Sai Srinivas Vellela has successfully completed 38 NPTEL certification courses across various domains of computing and emerging technologies. His research interests include Cloud Computing, Data warehousing and Data Mining, Big Data Analytics, Distributed Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Programming for Problem Solving.
He is an active member of several prestigious professional organizations, including a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) (LM 133622), a Member of the Computer Society of India (CSI) (M10835), a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) (Member No. 101009720), and a Life Member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
