Dr. K.P.Maity, currently acting as a professor in the department of mechanical engineering, National Insti-tute of Technology, Rourkela, India. Currently area of research is in the field of Micro machining, micro-forming, hot machining, machining of aerospace material, MEMS and modelling of metal deformation problems. He is guiding a number of PhD and M.Tech students in different emerging areas. He is actively engaged in excluding different R&D projects in the field of micro-machining
