About
Dr. S.G.E Reddy received his Master’s and Doctorate in Agricultural Entomology from the University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Presently working as Principal Scientist (Entomology) in the Entomology Laboratory, Agrotechnology Division, CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific Research, New Delhi. Author had more than 15 years of research experience in the field of entomology and pest management. He has published more than 50 research articles in reputed international and national journals. Dr. S.G.E Reddy’s present research interest is to screen plant extracts, fractions, compounds, and essential oils for their efficacy against aphids, diamondback moth, mealy bugs, and stored grain pests for identification lead (s) for the development of botanical formulations.
