About

S. Sashidhar was born in Visakhapatnam, India on 19th April, 1989. He has received B.E. and M.E. in Electrical Engineering from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India in 2009 and 2011, respectively. In his M.E. project, he worked with the Naval Science and Technology Laboratory (NSTL), DRDO, Visakhapatnam for the indigenous design of high-power radial flux BLDC motor for propulsion of torpedoes. He is currently a Ph.D. scholar at IIT Bombay, India. His research interests include design, finite element modelling and analysis of permanent magnet machines.
