About
Dr. Gopal P. M. is a Research Scientist (Specialist 2) specializing in sustainable polymer and metal matrix composites. He completed his Ph.D. at Anna University, India, where he explored CRT panel glass as a filler in metal composites. Currently at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand, his research focuses on green polymer composites reinforced with e-waste and other waste-derived materials. His current research focuses on developing sustainable polymer and metal composites using e-waste and other waste-derived materials, with applications in thermal and sound insulation as well as 3D printing.
Dr. Gopal’s interests span composite design, experimental characterization (mechanical, thermal and wear), additive manufacturing and circular economy strategies. He is dedicated to advancing environmentally responsible materials science by integrating waste valorization into high-performance composites and supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through applied research.
