About

Dr. Kailas Kalicharan Moravkar, working as a Principal research engineer, Regeron INC, South Korea. Formerly He was working as a Formulation Scientist in Jubeln Lifesciences. He has completed his PhD at the renowned Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. He has 4 years of Industry and 4 years of academic experience.
The current research focus is the Development of nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals through the biopharmaceutical application for anti-ageing and cancer treatment.

The core research work has been on the elucidation of various Pharmaceutical technologies involved in the development of continuous & dry processes for the manufacturing of different dosage forms. The study is also aimed at elucidating various drug delivery formats such as Biofilms, gels, granules, and inserts in the progression of Hot melt extrusion technology, MADG, and RCDG techniques. Yet the research work resulted in a 50 lac (INR) DST-SERB, India research grant as a PI, 6 - National (three are granted) & 4 - International patents, and 19 - published articles in peer-reviewed journals like Current Drug Delivery, Advanced Powder Technology, Material science & technology, European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc. He has also successfully implemented industrial projects during my PhD curriculum.

He has been awarded the Emerging Scholar award (2018) & first runner-up prize (2015) by Health, wellness & Society & ISPE respectively.
He has pursued M. Tech. from the most esteemed institute - NIPER, Mohali, India. The work was based on the large-scale production of Shikimic acid against avian flu caused by the H5N1 virus.
