Dr. Abhijit Maiti (PhD in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur) is a Professor in the Department of Polymer and Process Engineering at IIT Roorkee. He has been actively engaged in research projects mainly related to water quality management, the design of cost-effective tertiary/secondary water treatment systems, membrane separation processes, and the development of low-cost water treatment materials to remove emerging water pollutants.
