About
Dr. Muddasarul Hoda has completed his PhD from Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Pondicherry University under the guidance of Dr. Rukkumani Rajagopalan, and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Dept. of Biotechnology, IIT-Madras under the guidance of Prof. Mukesh Doble.
He is currently working as an assistant professor in the department of biological sciences, Aliah University, Kolkata. He has 37 international research publications to his credit with an h-index of 11. He has also co-authored a reference book entitled “Role of phenolic compounds in diabetes management” with Springer Nature publishing house.
His area of research includes the application of nanotechnology and phytochemistry in drug discovery and development. His thrust area includes delineation of molecular mechanism of action of phytochemicals in molecular medicine, in addition to modulation of drug design and delivery using computational and nanotechnological tools respectively.
