Dr. Bigi Thomas, MSW, NET, JRF, Ph.D.
Dr. Bigi Thomas is an Associate Professor with the Department of Social Work, Sardar Patel University, Anand, Gujarat, and her research focuses on the intersection of gender and violence, specifically in the areas of intimate partner violence and sexuality. She has also contributed to the literature on disability, life skill education, migration, health, and work-life balance, especially of women. Her research appears in many peer-reviewed national and international journals. She has authored two books titled “Male Migration in Kerala: Impact, Dynamics, and Consequences” and “NREGA and the Quality of Life of Beneficiaries”.
