About
Dr. Binod K Choudhary currently works as Principal Scientist at Indian Council of Agricultural Research- Fish Genetics and Biotechnology Research at Central Instituteof Freshwater Aquaculture Bhubaneswar in Oddisha state of India. Binod does research in Fish Quantitative genetics, Molecular assisted breeding, Selective Breeding, Genomics,Transcriptomics, WGS and One Health approach, Anti Microbial Resistance, MDR, Aquaculture and Environmental Science research.
Previously I worked at ICAR-National Institute of Biotic Stress Management (NIBSM), Raipur, India. His research focuses on One Health, antimicrobial resistance, zoonotic diseases, livestock health, and pathogen ecology at the human–animal–environment interface. He has contributed extensively to research on emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance surveillance, and climate change impacts on pathogen dynamics in agroecosystems. Dr. Choudhary has published widely in national and international journals and is actively involved in interdisciplinary research addressing animal, environmental, and public health challenges.
