Did M.Sc. (1988), M.Phil. (1993), Ph.D. (2000) in statistics from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, A.P. ; M.B.A. (Operations & Supply Chain) from Pondicherry University in 2016. Also did DCA and SAS (Certificate) program.
Teaching career as Lecturer in Statistics was initiated on 20th November 1988 for the graduate students at Mrs. A.V.N. College, Visakhapatnam and worked there at up to July 2007. Shifted to S.V. University, Tirupathi, A.P. as Associate Professor of Statistics in July 2007 and stayed up to 3rd January 2012.
Currently working as Professor, Department of Statistics, Pondicherry University (A Central University of India), Puducherry, from 4th January 2012.
My research areas of interest are Stochastic Modeling, Applied Operations Research, Bio-Statistics, Statistical Computing, Statistical Quality Control, Econometrics, Time series, Data Envelopment Analysis. conducted about three research projects sponsored by DST-SERB, UGC and Rotary Nethra International (an NGO)
