About
Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Mishra is currently working as Post-Doctoral researcher on the area of downstream processing of microalgal biofuel, at Advanced Biomass R&D Center, KAIST; Republic of Korea. After receiving his Ph.D. in 2012 in Microbiology from the (CSIR-CSMCRI) Bhavnagar University, Dr. Sanjiv began his professional scientific career as post-doc by joining the research Group of Prof. Ji-Won Yang in KAIST to study microalgal biofuel, microalgal bacterial interaction, cyanobacteria biotechnology, fluorescent proteins, harvesting and extraction. His major research interest is to develop technology to produce microalgal-based biofuels and valuable natural products that can be economically sustainable. His 8 years of research experience cover various fields of science revolving around his expertise in microalgal biomass, bio-plastics and fluorescent proteins. Nowadays, his main focus is to develop various economical technologies in the area of microalgal biotechnology and engineering.
