About
Dr. Har Singh did his Ph.D. from the Department of Library and Information Science, Panjab University (Chandigarh), India, in May 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Preeti Mahajan. He has over 21 years of professional experience in Library and Information Science.
Presently, he is working as a Deputy Librarian (AL-13A) at H.N.B. Garhwal University (A Central University), Srinagar, Uttarakhand, since 1st August 2023.
He also worked as a Deputy Librarian (Level-12) from 21st April 2022 to 31st July 2023 at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (Deemed University), Patiala (Punjab) where he joined as an Assistant Librarian (Level-10) in October 2013 and was promoted to Assistant Librarian Senior Scale (PM-11) on 9th December 2019 till 20th April 2022.
He also worked with the Indian Society of International Law (New Delhi), O.P. Jindal Global University (Sonipat), and IGNOU (New Delhi). He has published over twenty-four research papers in edited books, conference proceedings, and national and international journals, including Emerald.
He has participated in various national and international conferences. He graduated from Delhi University and holds BLIS, MLIS (Gold Medalist), PG Diploma in International Law and Diplomacy, PG Diploma in Distance Education, Certificate in ICT Applications in Libraries (CICTAL), etc. He qualified UGC NET CUM JRF in June 2009.
