About

Narayan Sinha received his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India in 2012. Then he moved to Germany to pursue his Ph.D., and completed his Ph.D. in 2016 from University of Muenster. After couple of postdoctoral stays in Canada and Switzerland, he moved back to India in 2023. He is currently working as an assistant professor of Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry at the School of Chemical Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, India. His group focuses on the development of organometallic complexes from N-heterocyclic carbene and/or aryl isocyanide ligands, and their applications in photophysics and photochemistry.
