I am Dr. Ved Prakash Sharma. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, India. I completed my Ph.D. at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in the area of mechanical reliability of microelectronic packages. I completed my B.Tech at Bundelkhan Institute of Engineering and Technology Jhansi in Mechanical Engineering discipline. My research is in the area of mechanical design specifically failure analysis. My approach to failure analysis involves systematic experimental studies, fractography studies, and numerical modeling techniques.

1. Coordinator for M.Tech Program (PG) -Mechanical System Design (MSD),

3. Coordinator for B.Tech Programs 2nd-year course.
4. Departmental ERP Coordinator.
5. Departmental coordinator for the Rajbhasha Hindi Cell.
