Did Ph.D. in Physics in the year 2002. Was awarded NSF-CEDAR-Post doctoral fellowship (2002-2004). At present working at National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO as a Senior Scientist and Heading the Atmospheric Science Division. Research interest includes Atmospheric Lightning, Air Quality, Coupling processes in the middle and upper atmosphere, and optical remote sensing.
