About

I am working as an assistant professor at the Department of Applied Geology at the National Institute of Technology-Raipur (NITR) in Raipur.

Lithospheric processes and mantle geodynamics are of particular interest to me. My current research focuses on carbonatites, syenites, and lamprophyres. Another topic that intrigues me is green technology research, such as coal-based REE extraction. I prefer a field-based geological approach coupled with mineral chemistry, geochemistry, geochronology, and other lab-based studies in geological problem solving. I am also well-versed in XRF, ICP-MS, IRMS and EPMA.

Subject: Geochemistry, Isotope geochemistry, Mineralogy, Mineral chemistry, Petrology, Igneous rocks, Coal, REEs
