About
Dr. K. Yugender Goud received a Ph.D. degree in chemistry with a specialization in "Electrochemical and Optical Biosensors" in 2017 in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. He has received an M.Sc. degree in chemistry with a specialization in modern methods of chemical analysis (MMCA) in 2011 from the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. He has worked as an Erasmus Mundus Euphrates Ph.D. student for two years (2015-2017) in BAE Laboratory, Université de Perpignan Via Domitia, Perpignan, France. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher (2018-2021) in Prof Joseph Wang's lab at the Nano-engineering department, University of California San Diego (UCSD). He was a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Searson's lab at the Institute for Nanobiotechnology, Johns Hopkins University. Currently, he is working as a Assistant Professor and Ramanujan Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad. His current fields of research interests are wearable stretchable sensors, electrochemical sensors (Voltammetry, Amperometry & impedance), biosensors (Aptamers, Enzyme & Immunosensors), Optical sensors (fluorescence & surface plasmon resonance), Chemical sensors (graphene, carbon nanotubes, and metal nanoparticle composites), Fuel cells (methanol oxidation, direct methanol fuel cells), biofuel cells.
