About

Sangjukta Roy is a scholar of English literature, currently pursuing a Ph.D degree at the department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Roorkee India. She has completed her English honours from the Department of English, Durgapur Women's College, Burdwan University and got her master's degree from Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol West Bengal. Her areas of research interest include memory studies, cultural studies, South Asian literature, migration, contemporary literature and art. She has presented a paper at a conference organized by the London Centre for Interdisciplinary Research titled "Narratives of Temporality: Continuities, Discontinuities, Ruptures" at the Spatiality and Temporality International Conference and has published one article titled 'A Comparative Study of Race, Gender, and Cultural Dimensions in Alice Walker's The Color Purple and Mahasweta Devi's "Draupadi" in a local journal, Journal of Arts, Culture, Philosophy, Religion, Language and Literature, e-ISSN: 2458- 0346 Volume 2, Issue 2.
