Ms. Sushama Deshmukh is an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at MGMU's Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College Ch. Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra, India.

She is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering at Dr. BAMU Aurangabad. She has completed her M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Government College of Engineering (GCE), Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India, and B.E. degree in Information Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College (JNEC) Aurangabad, Maharashtra. She started her academic career at the Maharashtra Institute of Technology in 2007.

She is awarded the Infosys Bronze Partner Faculty and has been serving in the educational field for more than 19 years.

She worked as a member of the peer reviewer committee nationally for the development of Virtual Lab—a project by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. She has contributed to the educational domain by developing an educational tool—a virtual lab simulator to perform experiments in software engineering—and also registered a copyright in the software category for the software engineering virtual lab with the user's performance evaluation report for an experiment.
She has attended national & international conferences and authored or co-authored technical book chapters and papers published in international journals. She is the inventor of a patent published in the IPR Journal.
She is a life member of the Computer Society of India and the Indian Society for Technical Education.
Her research interests include security, virtual labs, AI/ML, and software engineering. She has guided and supervised various sponsored and research projects.
