Dr. Sahar Qazi works as a Clinical Scientist and a Lab Supervisor at the Department of Molecular Medicine - Molecular Genetics & Molecular Oncology in the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), KAMC- Jeddah (WR). With a rich educational background and a passion for cutting-edge research, Dr. Qazi has become a prominent figure in the intersection of computer science and life sciences.

Dr. Qazi completed her Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the Department of Computer Science at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, in the years 2019-2022. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned her M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from the same institution between 2016 and 2018. Her academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Botany (Hons) from the University of Delhi, where she demonstrated a keen interest in the biological sciences, graduating in 2016. Her strong foundation in academics was established during her 12th-grade studies at St. Anthony's Sr. Sec. School, New Delhi, under the C.B.S.E. board.

Dr. Qazi's research interests encompass a wide range of fields, including Translational Bioinformatics, Cancer Biology, Epigenetics, Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD), and Biological Data Analysis. Her commitment to advancing these areas is evident in her impressive publication record. She has authored 22 research publications indexed in renowned databases such as Web of Science (WoS) and SCOPUS, along with contributing to 25 book chapters in the same indexed databases. Her contributions to the scientific community have not gone unnoticed, as Dr. Qazi has received three prestigious national awards. In 2022, she was honored with the DST-AWSAR Award, following her DST-INSPIRE Award in 2019. Additionally, her outstanding academic performance was recognized with a Gold Medal, securing the 1st position in M.Sc. Bioinformatics in 2019.
