About

My focus as an Ophthalmologist lies in refining cataract and glaucoma treatments, a commitment that is underpinned by my robust academic and surgical background of fellowship and training from Sankara Eye Hospital and Centre for Sight. With a hand in academia as an adjunct faculty at Sankara Academy of Vision, I foster the next generation of ophthalmologists, blending clinical excellence with educational rigor.
My role on the Editorial Board of Nature Portfolio's Scientific Reports, Springer Nature's BMC Ophthalmology, and Kerala Journal of Ophthalmology leverages my editorial acumen, ensuring scientific integrity and advancing ocular research. The synthesis of my clinical practice and scholarly pursuits culminates in groundbreaking contributions to ophthalmology, evidenced by multiple accolades and publications that underscore my dedication to innovation and patient care.
I have performed more than 8000 surgeries in different specialities, mainly cataract and glaucoma surgeries. I have more than 85 peer-reviewed publications, had written 10 book chapters, and presented more than 85 papers in national and international conferences. I am serving as a journal referee in more than 15 reputed international journals. I have done my postgraduation from K.S Hegde Medical Academy, Karnataka, India, and double fellowship from Centre for Sight, Delhi, India (Comprehensive Ophthalmology) and Sankara Eye Hospital, Tamil Nadu, India (Glaucoma)
