About
I am a student of geography with research interests in pyrogeography and wildfire analysis, with a focus on the socio-economic and cultural dimensions of fire. My research explores the complex interconnections between wildfire occurrences, Indigenous knowledge systems, and local community livelihoods, using geospatial technologies, ethnographic surveys, and interdisciplinary frameworks. I did my PhD in interdisciplinary geography from the HSS, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (ISRO), Dehradun, India.
