About
Dr. GuruSampath Kumar Ankisetty is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Kaveri University, with 15 years of teaching experience and 2.2 years of postdoctoral research experience at Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, P.R. China. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuramu, in 2016, with research focused on synthesizing and characterizing nanostructured CdZnO thin films and modifying them through heavy-ion irradiation. His research interests broadly encompass nanomaterials, thin films, ferrites, ceramics, gas sensors, UV photodetectors, and solar-cell materials. His experimental expertise includes DC/RF magnetron sputtering, sol-gel, hydrothermal synthesis, spin coating, chemical vapour deposition (CVD), XRD, SEM, UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy, XPS, Raman spectroscopy, and Hall-effect measurements.
He has contributed to research in functional materials, nanostructured thin films, ferrite nanoparticles, semiconductor materials, optoelectronic devices, gas sensing, dielectric materials, and magnetic materials. His publication record includes 33 papers (28 in SCI/SCIE & 3 in SCOPUS) reputed international and national journals, including Applied Surface Science, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, Ceramics International, Physica B, and Thin Solid Films. Dr. GuruSampath Kumar has also served as a resource person and invited speaker in faculty development programmes and academic events. His recent invited activities include lectures on next-generation materials for advanced sensors and nanostructured thin films and their applications.
He has also served as an Editorial Board Member of Discover Electronics (Springer).
He is a Life Member of the International Association of Advanced Materials and regularly contributes as a reviewer for reputed international journals, particularly in materials science. He has also participated in and organized several national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and faculty development programmes.
