Suraiya Jabin has been serving as a Professor in Department of Computer Science, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India since 2019. She brings over 23 years of extensive experience in teaching and research across diverse areas of Computer Science. Her research interests include Pattern recognition, Artificial intelligence, Behavioral biometrics, Smartphone-sensors & EEG based biometrics, Social Media Analysis, Computational Biology, and Medical Imaging. Her work focuses on providing AI and Deep learning based solutions to problems in Biometrics, Healthcare, and Postgenomic biology. She has extensively taught courses on Data Warehousing & Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Image Processing, Compiler Design, Systems Programming, Advanced Database Management Systems, Programming in C, Data Science with Python, Object–oriented programming using C++ and Java, Discrete Mathematics, etc. at post graduate level.
