Dr. Rajan works as an Assistant Professor at Dept. of Philosophy, University of Allahabad . Before that he worked at Azim Premji University, Bhopal, India, where he primarily engaged with the Philosophy of Education courses and related research. Axiological studies was also the part of his teaching engagements. He also worked for one year, in the Department of Philosophy at Kalinga Institute of social sciences –Bhubaneswar in Odisha. He obtained his M.A and Ph.D. in Philosophy from Banaras Hindu University –Varanasi, India, with prestigious U.G.C-NET /JRF and ICPR -New Delhi fellowships. He has given more than fifty research presentations in national and international seminars and conferences and published number of papers in prestigious journals, including JICPR-Springer, journal of Human Values : Sage , Philosophy East&West, Sophia : Springer , Journal of Dharma Studies - Springer, AI& Society -Springer ,Summerhill, IIAS-Review, Philosophical Papers(NBU), Rawenshaw Journal of Philosophy, and, to name a few, where he has engaged with the significant areas of Greco-Roman and Indian Philosophy, Judgement related to Freedom and Responsibility . Currently, he has been researching in the areas of Contemporary Indian Philosophy and Comparative Thinking .
