About
Dr K. Suresh Kumar has more than 20 years of teaching experience. Currently, he is working as Professor and Head of the Department of Information Technology at Saveetha Engineering College, Tamil Nadu, India. He did his Postgraduate M. Tech in Information Technology at Sathyabama University. He did his Ph. D from Anna University, Chennai. He has published more than 80 research papers in various international journals and 10 in international Conference. He has authored 6 Text books. He published three patents and got 5 Patent grants in his name. He received the best teacher award 3 times in college. He Received Guru Sironmani Award from PAAI new Delhi in Jan 2023, Global Teacher Award from AKS Education Awards, Gurugram, NCR, INDIA 2019, Best Senior Faculty from DKIRF in 2018, and the Outstanding Contribution on Teacher Award from NFED in 2012. He received a fund of Rs. 3,75,000 from MHRD for research. He is a certified Cloud Infrastructure and Services from Emc2 Bangalore. He is a reviewer in many International Journals like Security and Privacy, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, International Journal of Information Security and Privacy, Internet Technology Letters, and the European Journal of Training and Development. He is an approved guide in Anna University and also acts as a Doctoral committee member in various universities. He is an active Loins club member as a social worker, he is helping poor students through Lions Club. His areas of interest include Computer Security, Mobile Ad hoc Networks, Image Processing and Cloud Computing.
