DEEPAK SHARMA
Jawaharlal Nehru University, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, National Institute of Technology Hamirpur
About
Dr. Deepak Sharma earned his Masters and Doctorate form Department of
Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He received his
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Hamirpur. Currently, he is
working as Assistant Professor in School of Engineering, JNU, Delhi. His
research interests are largely in the broad area of mechanical behavior of
materials with specific focus on (i) understanding the mechanical integrity of
nanoscale devices under multi-physics (mechanical-electromagnetic-thermal)
loading, (ii) non-conventional machining at micro-nano scale, and (iii) thermal
interface materials for next-generation microelectronics packaging
applications.
