Dr. Dharmendra Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, and Contractual Faculty at MNNIT Allahabad Prayagraj
Dr. Kumar specializes in Photonic Crystal Fiber, Optical Fiber Sensors, and Nanophotonics. He is a Senior Member of both IEEE and the Optical Society of America (OPTICA). He has published over 80 research papers in prestigious national and international SCI journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology, IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, IEEE Sensors Journal, IEEE Transactions on Nanoscience, IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, Superlattices and Microstructures, JOSA B, and Applied Optics, among others.
Dr. Kumar has delivered numerous invited talks and has chaired sessions at various IEEE conferences. He has successfully guided five Ph.D. students and is currently supervising six more. Additionally, he has mentored over 19 M.Tech students.
