About

Amit Kumar Bhardwaj, born in 1974, embarked on a remarkable academic journey, starting with his B.Sc. in Computer Science from Kurukshetra University in 1996. His pursuit of knowledge continued as he obtained a Master of Business Administration in 1999 from the same institution.
Further enhancing his expertise, Amit earned a Master of Computer Science from MDU University in Rohtak, Haryana, India, in 2002. Subsequently, in 2007, he added a Master of Software Engineering to his list of achievements, graduating from the prestigious Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. His primary research focus during this time was in the field of Grid computing.
Dedicated to advancing his academic and research credentials, Amit completed his Ph.D. at the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology in Patiala, India, in 2015. His doctoral research revolved around integrated network traffic visualization systems for security threat analysis, detection, and reporting.
Prof. Amit is working as an Associate Professor in the information systems domain at LM Thapar School of Management within the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, India. His reputation as a dedicated researcher is evident through his 30+ publications in SCI, SSCI, ABDC listed, and numerous Non-SCI international journals and conferences. Notably, he holds four Indian patents.
Amit's commitment to knowledge dissemination is also reflected in his record of conducting over 20 skill development workshops and delivering more than 30 talks at national and international forums.
As an educator, he has imparted knowledge across various courses at LM Thapar School of Management, including Big Data for Managers, Business Applications of Cloud Computing, Information System Security, Excel Modeling for Decision Making, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
In the realm of cloud computing resources scheduling and big data, Amit collaborates with a diverse group of international faculties, contributing to the advancement of these fields. His extensive and diverse academic journey underscores his passion for education and research.
