About
I have over 45 years experience in teaching and research. My research interests are wide including Control systems, Discrete event systems, Nonlinear systems, Game theory, Image processing, Quantitative linguistics and Computer arithmetic. I have published over 170 papers in International and national journals and refereed conferences I have carried out several funded projects while at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) , Singapore including a SGD 1.6 million project on Vision based welding robot. I have also been associated with professional bodies IEEE , IFAC etc. I have chaired IEEE chapters in Control System and Education societies and the Nanotechnology Council. I have also chaired an IEEE conference on Intelligent control and acted as Editor of IFAC symposium on Adaptive tuning. I am a Life Senior Member of IEEE.
