Prof. Binod Chandra Tripathy received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Berhampur University, Odisha, India. Has produced 21 Ph.D. students under his guidance. He has published more than 220 research articles in different journals of international repute. Was the Director (i/c) of the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology, Guwahati, for 11 months during 2012-13. His H-index as per the scopus database is 37 and google scholar is 48. He is one among the world's top 2% scientists as per the survey done by the Stanford University in the year 2020 and 2021. He is ranked 14 among the Indian Scientists of Mathematical Sciences having H-index more than 30 for the year 2022 as per Microsoft Academic Research.com data. He is currently a professor at Tripura University since 2016. He has research experience of more than 35 years. His research interests are Fuzzy set theory, Sequences of fuzzy numbers, Summability theory, Sequence space and Series, Sequences of complex uncertain variables, Spectral theory, Multiset topological space, Neutrosophic topological space, Decision making etc.
