About
Dr Elsa Sanatombi Devi is a FAIMER Fellow of MAHE FAIMER international Institute and also a recipient of International FAIMER institute, Phldelphia USA, 2021. Works as Professor & QMR at MCON, MAHE, Manipal, Karnataka, India and also faculty at FAIMER International institute, MAHE, Manipal. She coordinates the first IELTS center in India in collaboration with NHS, UK. She is also a fellow observer under USIEF grant for 21st century initiatives to MGH Boston, USA. Recipient of UWS- GCRF fund to develop family and community capacity to provide evidence-informed advanced dementia care, and reduce risks of dementia related elder abandonment and abuse in India. President’s gold medalist for best outgoing student in M.Sc. Nursing and also Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) scholarship awardee and a national level player in Kabaddi and represented the state Manipur. She is an author of three text books and a freelance editor. She holds PhD in Nursing, MBA in Health Care Services, PG Diploma in Diabetes Education from World Federation- HOPE project and PG diploma in Guidance, Counselling and Psychology. Elsa is member of many professional organization and has 60 research publications
Elsa is a Toastmaster, Rotarian and project coordinator for ‘Sanjeevini’ project for children with cancer from 2007- 2014 under the Voluntary service organization, MAHE, Manipal. She engages towards Health promotion for elderly in Manipur, northeast India through the Community Nursing Officers and also works as faculty in the MAHE FAIMER International Institute.

Future plans: Work for elderly with dementia and build capacity for the rising numbers of elderly with Dementia.
