About

Biplab Kumar Dey is an assistant professor at the Department of Commerce, University of Delhi (South Campus). Before that, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Management, SRM University Sikkim, for six months. Mr. Dey also served the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya as an Assistant Professor for four years. Moreover, he was an Assistant Manager for three years at HDFC Bank. He obtained M.Phil degree in the field of Banking from NIT Arunachal Pradesh, India. He completed his MBA in Finance from ICFAI University Tripura, India. Also, he holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree with a concentration in International Business Trade and a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Development (PGDRD) from IGNOU, Delhi. He was qualified for both the UGC-NET SLET in Commerce and Management. Mr. Dey has been in the teaching profession for more than seven years. He has authored 10 books on banking, corporate governance, microfinance, and economics. He has published many research papers in Scopus and ABDC-indexed journals. His areas of interest include Banking, Financial markets, Microfinance, Rural Development, MCDM, and optimization issues. Mr. Dey is an editor, a reviewer for several international journals, and a member of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance.
