About

I worked in reactor physics design codes development for mostly thermal power nuclear reactors like BWR, VVER, PHWR and PWR. Did some innovative study on evolving reactor concepts for efficient use of thorium in power reactors. Design of a 1000 MWe reactor with a fuel cycle duration of as large as 1080 days is a novel feature claimed to be better than those of existing power reactors. They may be pursued globally to expand the nuclear material base for long term energy needs of the globe.
