University of Delhi, Dr. Mahendra Saha, Visva-Bharati University, Purandarpur High School, Keshaipur High School
About
He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics, University of Delhi, Delhi, India. Dr. Mahendra Saha, did his M. Sc. in Statistics from the Department of Statistics, Visva-Bharati University in the year 2007 and did his Ph. D. in Statistics from the same Department under the supervision Prof. Sudhansu S. Maiti in the area of Industrial Statistics in July, 2012. During the Ph. D. tenure, they published a new generalized measure of process capability index, known as Generalized Process Capability Index in the topic Statistical Quality Control. He has contribution in the area of distribution theory, reliability theory and survival analysis, Bayesian inference, generalized lifetime performance and estimation under censoring scheme along with statistical quality control. He has worked as an Assistant Professor from March, 2013 to September, 2023. During this period he has guided 5 Ph. D. students in the area of Industrial Statistics, Reliability Analysis and Distribution Theory. Recently, he has introduced a unified measure of Generalized Process Capability Index, known as Unified Generalized Process Capability Index. He has published more than 100 articles in the indexed journals. He has also guided more than 25 M.Sc. students for their Major project in the form of M; Sc thesis. Dr. Saha has presented 28 research article in in national and international conferences.
