About
I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, building upon a robust academic foundation and extensive experience in the field of Pharmaceutical Analysis, which I mastered during my postgraduate studies. My academic and professional journey reflects a consistent dedication to innovation, research excellence, and educational advancement in pharmacy and related life sciences. My Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis has instilled in me a deep understanding of analytical techniques, instrumentation, and validation protocols essential for ensuring the quality, efficacy, and safety of pharmaceutical products. This background has significantly contributed to my expertise in the development and validation of analytical methods, quality assurance (QA), and regulatory compliance processes. The analytical mindset fostered through this education has been instrumental in the execution of my research work and the delivery of academic content to students in a structured and impactful manner. I bring over two years of teaching experience in the field of pharmacy, during which I have served as a lecturer and academic mentor to undergraduate and postgraduate students. My teaching responsibilities have encompassed core subjects such as Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Quality Assurance, Pharmacognosy, and Regulatory Affairs. Substantial contributions to scientific research have enriched my academic journey. I am the inventor/co-inventor of two design patents and one process patent, reflecting my drive toward innovation and problem-solving in pharmaceutical sciences. These patents exemplify my commitment to addressing real-world challenges in formulation science, drug delivery, and analytical methodologies. I have authored and published over 15 international research and review articles in reputed, peer-reviewed journals, indexed in Scopus. I have had the honor of being selected for government funding to participate in national-level competitions, reflecting institutional and governmental recognition of my academic excellence and innovative mindset. I have represented my state in skill-level competitions, which offered a platform to showcase technical acumen, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills under pressure.
In addition to academic and research achievements, I have actively participated in several national and international conferences, symposia, and workshops, covering key domains such as pharmaceutical analysis, drug regulatory affairs, herbal medicine standardization, and advanced analytical instrumentation. I am also actively involved in herbal drug research, focusing on the standardization, extraction, phytochemical analysis, and quality control of herbal raw materials and finished products. This area of work is crucial for ensuring the consistency, efficacy, and safety of herbal medicines, which are gaining global recognition in integrative and alternative therapy. My contribution lies in developing validated analytical methods for the quantification of active phytoconstituents using modern tools such as HPTLC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometry, and HPLC, among others. I am also contributing toward the establishment of monographs, specification limits, and quality benchmarks for herbal ingredients.
