About
My research program is focused on the integrated approaches for drug discovery including computer-aided drug design, medicinal chemistry, and cell biology experiments to investigate and address the therapeutic strategies in treating cancer diseases. At present, I am working towards targeting HSP90 and BRAF proteins. Molecular mechanics and molecular dynamics approaches are explored to understand the structure, reactivity, and function of small molecules with target proteins. Develop novel cost-effective synthetic routes for the lead compounds. Besides, I also work on providing a hypothesis to the mechanism of drug action with in vitro cell-based experiments and proteomic analysis.
