About
Dr. Rostyslav Sipakov is a construction executive and researcher focused on sustainable urban infrastructure, integrating BIM and IoT-enabled monitoring to improve environmental performance and public health outcomes. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science and two master’s degrees in Industrial and Civil Engineering and Business Management. With 20+ years in the A/E/C industry, he served as CEO of Group Systems in Moscow (2005–2014), leading $200 million in design-build projects for major clients, and previously worked as a site foreman and deputy project manager at Capital City Development Group.
From 2016 to 2021, his research examined the public-health impacts of air pollution and advanced real-time air-quality monitoring approaches tied to urban infrastructure decision-making. He collaborates with the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture and serves as a peer reviewer for journals and platforms, including Elsevier, Research Square, MDPI, Frontiers, and ASCE.
In 2022, he founded CoastalQuant, Inc., a Florida-based construction management and research agency emphasizing sustainability.
He is a licensed Florida General Contractor (CGC1532785) and holds PfMP, PMI-CP, ENV SP, and CSci (Science Council, UK) credentials, with memberships including ASCE, ASHRAE, DBIA, PMI, IEEE, and IES (UK).
