Yuvraj Singh Negi joined IIT Roorkee as an associate professor in 2005. Presently he is Professor in-charge of IIT Roorkee, Saharanpur campus, India which is recently trifurcated in to three departments namely Department of Polymer Science and Process Engineering, Department of Applied Sciences and Engineering and Department of Paper Technology. He did his Ph.D. in 1983 from IIT Delhi and served as Monbusho fellow-TIT, Tokyo, Japan, RA and Scientist Pool -IIT Delhi, Visiting Researcher–National Research Lab, Osaka, Japan, Researcher-New Tech. Group, Central R & D Lab, Showa Shell Petroleum, Atsugi, Japan, Sr. Scientist-SRI Delhi, Adj. Faculty-ABRC, Delhi Univ., Manager R & D-Polymer, Gharda Chem, Mumbai, Sr. Scientist-C-MET, Pune. He has published over 100 research papers in reputed international journals & conference proceedings and has 28 patents during his wide experience in the field of Polymer Synthesis, Characterization and Applications of polymers.
