About
Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Wani is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Malaya (UM). Prior to his current appointment, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India (2024–2025), and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Fuel Cell Institute, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
Dr. Wani earned his PhD in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, specializing in analytical chemistry. His research expertise focuses on the design, synthesis, and development of advanced novel nanomaterials, thin films, and functional membranes tailored for environmental remediation and energy storage applications. His current research initiatives center on the development of sustainable nanomaterials engineered for fuel cells, electrocatalysis, and advanced wastewater treatment technologies.
