About
At present working as Professor of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Department in Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) at Patiala, Punjab in India. I am passionate in working as a faculty member of Electrical Engineering program in under graduate and post graduate levels with past academic experience of more than 15 Years and Industrial experience of 3 Years. Also I am working as Internship and Placement Coordinator of ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Program. My research interest is in the areas of Integration of Distributed Energy Resources, Operation, Control, Protection and Stability of Microgrid- an Emerging Power System. High voltage engineering is another area of my interest in my academic profession and working as an In-Charge of High Voltage Engineering Laboratory of Electrical Engineering Department in TIET. The Ph.D. (Engineering) Degree was awarded to me in the year 2012 by Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in the field of power system for my research in renewable energy based microgrid system. Published several research papers in the International Journals including SCI indexed journals, International and National Conferences. Completed 17 numbers of M.E. Thesis in Power System at TIET, India. 5 Ph.D. Research Scholars have completed their PhD research under my supervision. I have Senior membership of IEEE, U.S.A., Life Membership of Metrology Society of India (MSI) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
